Searching for restaurants or venues can be an intimidating, painful, and often, a time-consuming process. Individuals are forced to duplicate several discovery steps in order to find space capable of meeting their specific needs (date, time, capacity). To avoid this, many individuals end up limiting the scope of variety by creating a list of preferred venues or bring in an outside expert, resulting in additional time and costs.

SUITS AND TABLES IS A WEB-BASED MARKETPLACE THAT PUTS USERS AND VENUES ONTO THE SAME PLATFORM TO STREAMLINE THE REPETITIVE STEPS OF THE SOURCING AND PLANNING PROCESS, WHILE ALSO PROVIDING A CENTRAL REPOSITORY FOR AN ENTIRE EVENTS’ NEEDS. THE COMPANY INTERVIEWED DOZENS OF EVENT PLANNING PROFESSIONALS, ADMINISTRATIVE AND EXECUTIVE ASSISTANTS, AND PRIVATE DINING MANAGERS TO CREATE AND DESIGN THE PLATFORM. EVERYTHING THEY OFFER IS BASED UPON USER INPUT AND WILL CONTINUE TO IMPROVE BASED UPON FUTURE FEEDBACK.

Business + Dinners

THE DESIGNING PROCESS STARTED WITH A REVIEW OF THE ACTUAL BRAND AND ITS VISUAL ELEMENTS. AFTER  THAT, THE GROUP CONSENSUS WAS THAT A NEW BRAND WAS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

TO CREATE THE NEW CONCEPT, WE start thinking in A VISUAL ELEMENT THAT better REPRESENT THE COMBINATION "SUITS + TABLES"  AND EVERYTHING RELATED WITH THESE TWO WORDS, EG. BUSINESS + DINNERS, MEETINGS + RESTAURANTS , WORK + FOOD. it didn't take to long to realize that  a table it's not just part of the company name but also the support where most of these actions occur.

Before & After

building a new brand

the new logo it's not so literal as the previous one and The intention it's not to look as a table at first sight. but, when used in different backgrounds, photos and  textures, the concept it's understandable. the logo shape also looks like a fresher and versatile badge  that can be used in  a  big variety  of applications.

during the creative steps for the new brand, we also developed a complete set of elements, imagery and colors to build the brand positioning. tools like wordmap and moodboard had been used to give us a visual idea for the brand purpose  .
